    Get set for the season at the Danville Fall Crafts Festival. This popular event features arts and crafts from more than 200 artisans, along with food, music and entertainment for the whole family. Children can also participate in the Halloween parade on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and enjoy safe trick-or-treating throughout the day.

    Lighting of the Old Oak Tree

    November 24 from 5:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

    Make memories with your loved ones at Danville's annual tree lighting ceremony. Watch as Father Christmas and the Snow Angel sprinkle a little magic dust on the old oak tree and bring it to light. Warm feelings will quickly quell the cool air as local choral groups provide musical accompaniment and neighborhood businesses pass out hot beverages. Want to keep the magic going? Stroll downtown and enjoy refreshments, entertainment and holiday shopping through the festively decorated streets.

    "Shop Danville First" Reusable Shopping Bag

    Effective July 1, 2016 single use plastic bags will be banned in Danville, so remember to bring your reusable shopping bags to the store.

    Whether strolling through the farmers market, one of our specialty boutiques or simply shopping for the weekly groceries, these high quality reusable shopping bags will make a statement while showcasing our community.  Shopping bags can be purchased at the Farmers' Market on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for $3.00.
