          Village Theatre and Art Gallery   Built in 1873 for use as a farmer's lodge, the Village Theatre has been used as a Grange Hall, Movie Theatre, and Church. Recognized as a historic site by the Heritage Resource Commission, the Village Theatre now serves as a performing arts theatre with an art gallery in the lobby.
         

     

         
          Eugene O'Neill National Historic Site   Up in the hills above Danville you’ll find the Tao House, where Eugene O'Neill, America's only Nobel Prize winning playwright, lived at the height of his career.           Museum of the San Ramon Valley   Founded in 1985, the Museum of the San Ramon Valley preserves and interprets the history of the valley through exhibits, tours, archival collections, and special programs for the public and students.
